Kent County Canine Association obedience section holds four half-hour classes every Friday evening at Barming Village Hall, Maidstone from 7.30pm. Cost is £2.50 per session plus annual membership of KCCA - £2.50 single/£3 joint - to cover insurance and equipment. Puppy classes require an advanced payment of £20 for five weeks' instruction.
All four classes are based on the requirements of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme and testing is offered at regular intervals during the year:
1 The Puppy Assessment: including socialisation, handling & play - all family
members welcome. PUPPY
2 Working towards the KC Good Citizen Bronze Award BEGINNERS
3 Working towards the KC Good Citizen Silver Award NOVICE
4 Working towards the KC Good Citizen Gold Award ADVANCED
There are two trainers on duty each session - working with you and your dog at your own pace until both are ready to move to the next level.
